CYCAN

Founded in August 2007 by a group of young Chinese environmentalists and several student organizations, China Youth Climate Action Network (shortly CYCAN) is China’s first grassroots organization for youth to tackle the issue of climate change. It strongly advocates environmental consciousness of young people and leads them to active participation. By providing Chinese young individuals a strong network, CYCAN helps to realize global green revolution through advocacy, practical action, international exchange activities and green employment. With 10 years of development, students from more than 500 universities and colleges have participated in activities organized or sponsored by CYCAN, reached over a hundred thousands of young people in total.
