Katherine is an industrial engineer, MBA and holds advanced studies in Sociology and has deep expertise in the maritime industry (12+years). Katherine developed over the last 4 years a passion for sustainability and ESG strategy topics, especially related to supply chain and transportation, supporting a great variety of clients in the industry itself but also energy, cargo owners, insurance and financing companies- at a top tier consulting company. She recently attended a 6 month executive course on Climate & Sustainability at Cambridge University.

Kazuya Takeda is a supply chain and logistics professional working in a global robotics firm. He holds a Master’s degree of business administration from University of Glasgow and is a student of Harvard Extension School (Sustainability).

Liana Mehring holds a Masters in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. Her specialization is Environment, Resources and Sustainability with a secondary specialization in Global Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University (Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service) in Washington, DC where her area of focus was Culture and Politics and African Studies.

Netra is a young climate scientist, architect, and environmental planner. She is interested in how cities adapt to deal with urban heat and flooding. Her specialist areas and research focus are green infrastructures, nature-based solutions, and climate-responsive design and planning. She is an ex-International Climate Protection Humboldt Fellow from the 2021 cohort.
