In order for the climate agreement to succeed in Paris, all countries must commit themselves to reducing carbon emissions. Governments must unite and agree on a fair standard that must be maintained by all. Carbon cuts can often occur at the expense of economic progress, but that is why governments must find innovative ways to keep both the economy and the climate. The IMO Convention to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the maritime sector by at least 50% by 2050 will undoubtedly be difficult to implement without harming the government’s economies but most of the 173 member states agreed to reduce emissions, with the exception of the United States Since Saudi Arabia is the only country to formally withdraw from the Paris Climate Convention, it is regrettable that Saudi Arabia has joined its ranks by opposing the text of the draft UN draft and this delays the progress made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia in recent months through renewable energy projects.
