Julian Atchison is an MSc graduate from the University of Melbourne in Zoology, where his research looked at the biochemical effects of climate change on abalone, an important local aquaculture species in Victoria.
Julian volunteers at a Melbourne-based group looking to facilitate social change and get people more active in civic life – which means voting for climate and demanding more action from elected representatives. He spread awareness by researching and editing a fortnightly email newsletter that keeps our supporters up to date on the latest news in climate change, and gives them positive actions they can take in their lives to be part of the climate movement.
