Ron Israel, Project Co-Director and Advisor, is Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Global Citizens’ Initiative. Mr. Israel has extensive experience designing and implementing international development projects in the fields of environmental protection and sustainable development, global governance, and citizen participation. He served more than 20 years as Vice-President and Director of International Programs for Education Development Center, Inc., a large nonprofit research and development institution. Mr. Israel also is the author of several published books including: Global Citizenship, A Path To Building Identity and Community In A Globalized World.
