Thomas Christensen recently completed a Master’s in Environmental Policy & Technology as well as two years of research at Imperial College London’s Centre for Environmental Policy. He has published journal articles in the rapidly growing field of the European bioeconomy and specializes in full value chain thinking and innovation. Additionally, his understanding of climate change is grounded in nature-based solutions as he completed over 2,000 hours of hands-on field work in Washington State to restore native habitat, specifically targeting salmon populations. He has recently joined the Climate Change Advisory Team of the British Embassy in the United States, where he will be liaising with Southwestern States to foster increased participation and adherence to the goals of COP26.
